You are invited to join NVAHOF during the annual Aviation Nation Nellis AFB Open House in publicly saluting aviation and aerospace leaders and legends from throughout the United States for their contributions to the aerospace legacy of Nevada. On November 7, the Nevada Aerospace Hall of Fame’s historic event will enshrine a group of air and space legends before an anticipated audience of 450 or more peers and admirers. Invited guests will include leaders from our national and Nevada government, national and international aerospace and defense industry leaders, media representatives and aviation enthusiasts from around the world! This year, NVAHOF will not only be recognizing aerospace and aviation legends from throughout the United States who significantly contributed to the aerospace and aviation legacy of our state, but also the Thunderbird Alumni Association of our nation’s Ambassadors in Blue, the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron (Thunderbirds). This recognition will carry over into Veterans’ Day and the public air show that follows.
We are inviting anyone wishing to support NVAHOF in recognizing the 2012 Class of Enshrinees to attend our reception, dinner, and induction ceremonies. Sponsoring members are welcome to show their support by adding their own memorabilia to the NVAHOF welcome packet given to those attending the event. Please visit our website today and let us know of your support by attending or by joining NVAHOF in making it possible for our active duty military personnel to attend the event in your name.
The reception will commence at 1800 hours at the Nellis AFB Officers Club. Dinner will be served at 1900 hours followed by the awards ceremony. Dress will be business attire.
